Soft merino slippers in beige that are easy to slip on.

Merino wool on the surface keeps your feet cosy, and the sole has small rubber dots for grip. Wool breathes too, so your feet stay warm without getting hot.

Lovely for lazy Sundays, busy weekday mornings and evenings on the sofa. Keep a pair by the bed, so every day starts with warm feet. On a cold bathroom floor, you will be glad of them. Take them along on a trip to see family or a winter weekend away. They make a nice welcome for guests too.

The beige is calm and goes with everything. They also make a lovely gift.

Sizing tip: if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Composition
Wool surface: 100% merino wool · Base: 100% polyesterWhy a base? In a fluffy wool blanket like this, the wool is anchored in a fine, elastic mesh – without it the fibres would not stay in place. Every blanket made this way has one; we simply list it, which not every shop does. Everything soft is natural wool.

Mulesing-free wool

Mulesing is a procedure used on some merino farms. Our wool maker confirms in a signed statement that all the wool it uses is 100% mulesing-free.

Caring for your wool

Everyday care

Wool needs very little care. Its fibres have a natural protective layer that dirt doesn’t cling to easily, and wool lets odours go again when it’s aired. Airing it now and then keeps it fresh, soft and light.

  • Air it outside or by an open window now and then, out of direct sunlight.
  • Give it a good shake to lift the fibres.

A deeper clean

When it needs more than airing, take it to a dry cleaner and ask for a gentle wool clean. It keeps your wool looking its best for the longest time.

  • We don’t recommend a washing machine, not even on a wool cycle.
  • We don’t recommend a tumble dryer either. Let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun.
  • No ironing needed. Wool springs back into shape by itself.
  • Only take it to the dry cleaner when it needs it, once a year at most.

Your wool questions, answered

Quick answers about comfort, care and choosing the right one.

Does merino wool itch?

Most people find merino lovely and soft. Merino fibres are very fine, so they bend against your skin instead of prickling. Our cashmere blend is the softest of all.

Can I use it all year round?

Yes. Wool breathes and takes up moisture, so it feels cosy on cold days without getting stuffy in milder weather.

Does new wool smell?

A new wool piece can have a light, natural wool smell at first. It fades after a day or two of airing.

Will it pill?

A little fluff can appear on the surface at first. It is loose fibres working their way out, and it settles with use. A fabric comb lifts it off in seconds.
