Medical Sheepskins

Medical sheepskins are known for their short, dense merino wool. It feels soft and even, and it is lovely on a bed, an armchair or a desk chair.

Choose the shorn medical sheepskin with wool of 2 to 3 cm, which does not tangle, so a good shake is all the care it needs; the long-haired version with 4 to 6 cm of silky wool; or the bed pad of about 180 × 60 cm, which covers the length of a single bed.

The wool comes from Australian merino sheep.

The name describes the type of sheepskin. It is not a medical device.
