Icelandic Sheepskins

Icelandic sheepskins have the longest wool in our range: 12 to 18 cm of soft, flowing wool that drapes beautifully over a chair, a sofa or the end of a bed.

Icelandic sheep have lived on the island for more than a thousand years. Their wool grows in two layers, a soft, warm inner layer and a longer outer layer that falls in loose strands, which gives these skins their deep, flowing look.

Choose the natural colours the sheep grew, a Rusty skin with lightened tips, or a dyed sheepskin for a look that really stands out. Most are photographed one by one, so the skin you see is the skin you receive.
