A cosy wool jacket with a hood, a zip and two pockets, in dark brown.

It has the same easy, straight cut as our merino Laguna, in a wool blend at 320 g/m². Warm, comfortable and easy to wear every day.

Lovely for dog walks, the school run and quick trips to the shops. Zip it up on a chilly evening in the garden, or wear it open around the house. The hood is handy when the wind picks up, and the pockets are just right for cold hands. Take it along on a weekend away, and you will reach for it every morning.

Dark brown is rich and goes with almost anything. It sits just as well over a jumper as over a T-shirt. It also makes a lovely gift.

Mulesing-free wool

Animal welfare

Mulesing is a procedure used on some merino farms. Our wool maker confirms in a signed statement that all the wool it uses is 100% mulesing-free.

Caring for your wool

Everyday care

Wool needs very little care. Its fibres have a natural protective layer that dirt doesn’t cling to easily, and wool lets odours go again when it’s aired. Airing it now and then keeps it fresh, soft and light.

  • Air it outside or by an open window now and then, out of direct sunlight.
  • Give it a good shake to lift the fibres.

A deeper clean

When it needs more than airing, take it to a dry cleaner and ask for a gentle wool clean. It keeps your wool looking its best for the longest time.

  • We don’t recommend a washing machine, not even on a wool cycle.
  • We don’t recommend a tumble dryer either. Let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun.
  • No ironing needed. Wool springs back into shape by itself.
  • Only take it to the dry cleaner when it needs it, once a year at most.

Your wool questions, answered

Quick answers about comfort, care and choosing the right one.

Does merino wool itch?

Most people find merino lovely and soft. Merino fibres are very fine, so they bend against your skin instead of prickling. Our cashmere blend is the softest of all.

Can I use it all year round?

Yes. Wool breathes and takes up moisture, so it feels cosy on cold days without getting stuffy in milder weather.

Does new wool smell?

A new wool piece can have a light, natural wool smell at first. It fades after a day or two of airing.

Will it pill?

A little fluff can appear on the surface at first. It is loose fibres working their way out, and it settles with use. A fabric comb lifts it off in seconds.
